From the 2000 NBA Draft through the 2020 NBA Draft, 48 players have been selected who played at an Illinois high school. Of those players, 24 were first-round picks.
In only two drafts was an Illinois high school player not selected: 2020 and 2013. No Illinois high school player has been selected in the first round in the past five drafts: Jahlil Okafor (No. 3 overall) and Frank Kaminsky (No. 9) were taken in the first round in 2015.
From 2000 to 2009, 29 players were drafted, including 16 in the first round.
